The Voice of Burlington Youth....

The Burlington Young Liberals Club is dedicated to bringing the voice of Burlington youth to Ottawa and Toronto. Since our inception in 2004, BYLC members have worked together with our federal and provincial riding associations to help shape policy, including helping to raise awareness and resolve the problems that new immigrants to Canada face; tackling the problem of low youth participation in Canadian democracy; and helping bring fairness and opportunity to Canada's post-secondary students.

As the only political youth club in Burlington, the BYLC is dedicated to furthering the interest of youth in the decisions that we will be making in the future. This is why the BYLC helps youths connect to the wide world of politics through networking and events ranging from local campaign events with federal and provincial candidates, to mock legislatures where you can experience the rush of political life, and the satisfaction of serving in the interest of Canadians everywhere.

The BYLC, true to its name, is steadfast in its support of the Liberal Party of Canada and the Ontario Liberal Party. We believe that the Liberals are the best hope of furthering the lives of all Canadians by creating a fair, just and accountable government. The Liberals have already reached many milestones in their long history, including the creation of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the creation of public health care and the promotion of environmental responsibility.
